Baby Chris is now the size of a mango, measures 6.7 inches and weighs 3.5 ounces. The baby’s heart has beat well over 17 million times already.
For unknown reasons, around this time scientists have observed that baby girls move their jaws significantly more often than baby boys.
Mom may begin to feel her baby kicking inside her at this point in time. This phenomenon is known as “quickening.” As we know from what we’ve seen so far, Baby Chris has been moving around for a long time already, but has been too small for mom to feel those movements yet. So this is not the time that the baby
starts moving, but only the time that Mom may
start feeling it.
